Sub Conscience dreams about Canis Lupus

Once again I had a dream about a dog. Not just a dog of course, about my dream dog. A Siberian Husky. I am the one who spots these dog from far away. I usually turn my head, slightly screaming "Look! A Husky!". I am the one who runs to the owners, asking politely if I can "talk" with their dog. I am the one to takes pictures of these dogs (my cell phone memory will prove that). Shortly, my love for dogs is endless, but I really want a Husky.

Why? because, of course, Daaaaah, it is the most beautiful dog in the world!
I can also go for a Japanese Inu, like the Akita-Inu or Shiba-Inu, I can also go for a Cardigan Welsh Corgi, just like Ein, from Cowboy Bebop. I think I would never say no to a dog like Skippy which is a mixed Pekingese... The Alaskan Malamute is very similar in his look to a Husky and therefor I can take one of these also...

So, today I had a dream. I was standing in an Air Port. Small, unfamiliar one, and while I was there I was talking to people who went for a vacation, some of them I knew (two of them were parents of former students of mine), they all left for a short vacation and they all took their dogs with them, and all the dogs were Huskies and I kept asking how come they are taking the dogs with them and not leaving them home and let me take care of them. The last dog I saw was named "Flied Lies" - meaning, Fried Rice...

M was laughing, leaving for the library, with my stupid dream in his head, promising me that in two years we would have a dog... he asked how would we name it, and I said I don't know yet. Maybe Roma, maybe Suez.

And here is to the most amazing animal in the world, together with cats of course...

This is Skippy that you all know by now. He belongs to my mom's friend who took him from a shelter. He is needy, funny and acts very humanly sometimes, he comes to the beach with us all the time, he likes to swim, he is eating Burekasim and sits on a chair.

When I lived in NYC I had a subscription to National Geographic.
I remember reading the entire issue that was dedicated to the anniversary of the conquering of the Everest in May 29, 1953, by Sir Edmund Hillary and the Sherpa Tenzing Norgay.
After finishing the issue (and as you would expect from NaGeo) I was very knowledgeable about everything that got anything to do with the expedition and these people.

Edmund Hillary died tonight.

My tears for a great man who did one of the most amazing things of all...
(and much more by the way, mainly to help the Sherpa community).
